I’m a young woman and first-time car owner. When my front tires began making weird noises when I turned my steering wheel, I took my car to the [chain auto servicer and also tire seller… you know the one] near me. The guy there told me that I needed new wheel bearings but also broke the news that he believed my transmission was an issue that needed checking out ASAP before he performed any services. That really freaked me out, and I found this AAMCO on a quick Google search for transmission services. I chose this shop over others with similarly high ratings because it’s family- and veteran-owned. Not only was their diagnostic service free (my transmission was okay!!!), the man I spoke to made me feel comfortable asking novice questions. He was informative, kind, and completely non-judgmental… except to my auto servicer which, upon hearing this story, he recommended I stop going to LOL
My vehicle was making a weird noise for a few months. After taking it to multiple different shops, none were able to diagnose the noise. After some research, I decided to try AAMCO in Marietta. Jason and Mark were professional and made sure I understood everything that was going on. They diagnosed the issue and was able to complete it in a week. Thank you Jason and Mark!
AAMCO has great customer service and was a perfect experience. I was referred there by a service department, and AAMCO's diagnostic testing was very thorough. They were honest and fair in the assessment, and I would definitely recommend them.
I have been using and referring these guys for years. Mark and Jason are good people, and put their customers first!
I brought my car in for a transmission problem, however after troubleshooting AAMCO found some engine performance issues. There was no clear transmission related issue, so they didn't try to sell me something I didn't need. Also, no charge for the vehicle check which was surprising.
