I have a 2008 Nissan Altima which had started to whine and was under extended warranty. We called AAmco & spoke with Mark who was helpful and knowledgeable. My husband & I drove down and expected to be waiting in the shop for hours. They took care of us quickly and thoroughly. The shop was clean, tidy and welcoming. Mark answered our questions and was very helpful. I entered the shop worrying about my car and left feeling secure in that I had chosen the perfect shop. They arranged a rental car for us in a timely manner. My husband and I finished some errands and drove the hour plus home. Mark called us that afternoon and informed us that the diagnostic was complete and it was covered under Nissan factory warranty. Mark and his crew even drove it to the Nissan dealership so that we did not have to make a return trip! :-) What an honest, professional shop!

Transmission problems are just awful, but THIS AAMCO franchise makes them as painless as possible. I work in the automotive industry, and I wanted to take my car to Joe Barton’s United Transmission downtown- but it burned down. Now this is the ONLY place that will work on my transmission. I had less than stellar experiences at another AAMCO location, but Mark makes this franchise truly stand apart. The Trust Dale guarantee provides excellent value! I had my car towed 120 miles to get it back to THIS specific \AAMCO location- now my Avalon is ready for its next life after their work.

Aamco is a high quality trustworthy place to take your car. The dealer had quoted me $8000 to fix my transmission and in the same sentence told me to junk my car and buy a new one. He then introduced me to a salesman. Since I was a female and alone, I think they thought I would not ask any questions. I took the car to Aamco for a second opinion. It turned out that the transmission was fine and the repair was minor-$400. Mark at AAMCO was polite and dependable but most of all honest. ALWAYS get a second opinion especially if a dealer.I highly recommend AAMCO!

I took a car I was considering purchasing for my daughter to Aamco Transmission on S. Cobb Drive, Marietta. I went to have the air conditioning checked. Mark and his staff went beyond and advised me of several problems with the car. They let me know the car would not be a good purchase. NO charge! It saved me $$ and the possible safety of my child. I was so impressed with Mark's honesty and integrity.

These guys are awesome!! I had my car towed from another repair shop after a conversation with Mark. He was very honest, professional and knowledgeable..which is hard to find in mechanics these days. They did a diagnostic in hours and repaired my car in days whereas the other repair shop took over a week to even figure out the problem. I am very happy with their work and their fantastic customer service!

I am still so impressed with these guys! They continue to go out of their way to give excellent service and satisfaction. This has been my second time bringing my vehicle to them, and I will continue to do so in the future. It's so hard to find a great mechanic and the guys at this AAMCO location are here for us!

Brought in a Durango with close to 200k miles on it that I needed checked out so I could pull a heavy double-axle trailer far up into the Northeast. Car was on its first transmission and that transmission was likely at its EOL (avg. replacement on Durango's is about 90k miles). AAMCO diagnosed the issues well, rebuilt the transmission and rear end at a competitive rate and in a timely manner (3 days incl. drop off). They detailed every step after an initial breakdown to inspect the inner workings. I liked their policy of no surprises and price changes. They ended up having to replace an additional part that is wholesale about $150 and requires about 1+ hours of labor at their own expense. They did invite me to stop buy at any time to inspect the work and the old parts. They were very transparent. The trailer was towed without any incidents and in all honesty, the car ran during this 14 hour trip each direction better than it had new. Thank you for all your help and great work! This was my first time as a customer and I based my choice on their reputation, both online and by talking to mechanics around town. It could have not been a better experience!

Not only do the gentlemen at this establishment know their stuff, they go about their business with a professionalism and courtesy that seems to be from a bygone era.

Andy, Andrew, and Mark were soooo awesome and really helped this single mommy out. A sensor on my transmission went bad and due to miscommunication from my dealership, I was past my warranty, but the guys here worked with my dealership and got it fixed at NO COST! They even had my car towed from Cartersville for free! Thanks ya'll!

After shifting my car from reverse to drive and it started to roll back, I knew I had a problem. When it was in Park, it did the same thing, and then it would not start I knew I was toast. After the car was towed to Aamco, I described my problem to Andy. The service received from both Andy and Mark was exemplary. They even called and arranged for me to be picked by Enterprise Car to rent a vehicle for the duration of the repair. After running a complete diagnostic on my car they found the reason for that problem and also resolved my Check Engine Light issue. The problem was a transmission control cable and they found and replaced a broken evaporator canister, which cost a little extra to replace But Well Worth It. The total cost way less than I had expected and I was able to return my car rental 2 days ahead of time that alone saved me almost $200.

They had my car in and out in less than a day. Told me a price and then came back later with a price that was atleast $100 less than the quoted price. Could not have been happier with the service and price. Would definitely recommend using them if you ever have trouble with your car.

The staff was very honest and helpful. They did everything they could to help make my repair more affordable. It is hard to find people you can trust with your car repairs, but this AAMCO is the exception.

Had problems with my transmission on my Jeep. Straight to the point about fixing it. Best price in town. Would recommend them to anyone. Dropped it off this morning and had my Jeep back before they closed. Best customer service I have ever had!

We were very impressed with the quality of service received from AAMCO. Both Andrew and Mark spent time discussing options as well as what was happening with our transmission. Although it had to have quite a bit of work and parts replaced, it is running so much smoother than we remember. As two teachers who appreciate a good value, we definitely feel like we got it!

If you have any transmission problems, please don't go anywhere else! Mark McGregor and his team do an excellent job, and what's even better: they stand behind their work far above and beyond AAMCO's written warranties. Great service!

Just brought my 2001 Nissan Frontier up here becuase it had a pretty massive transmission leak and was slipping going into gear. A lot of places probably could have taken me to the cleaners, but Mark took a look at it and found a faulty hose. Total cost was $162. So glad I was recommended to you guys and can't thank you enough. Semper Fi!

Special thanks to Mark McGregor and the AAMCO crew for my recent repair. Mark identified a possible cause of engine overheating (that two other repair shops had missed) thanks to his service in Desert Storm. They also confirmed that my 1 year old radiator was not functioning properly and replaced it at no charge. Could have saved a lot of money if I had gone there first. Thanks, AAMCO!

I thought I had a transmission problem. Left my 93 Olds Sierra for diagnostics and Mark called me and said nothing was wrong with the transmission. He said they checked it out from top to bottom and all I really needed was nothing more than a tune-up. When I asked how much I owed for the service he said the diagnostic was no charge. A great bunch of guys, honest, and open. I will send all my business straight to them without hesitation. Thank you so much. It is refreshing to know that you can trust such provider!

I had no choice but to post a review for this AAMCO shop I am a senior in high school and depend on my car for so many things. It gets me and my friend to and from school each day as well as enabling me to visit colleges I am applying to. My car is pretty old, and well, it is kind of a sucky looking car. It is a 1999 Ford sedan with just about 200000 miles on it. I can't afford a new car and my parents can't afford to buy me one. Like I have come to depend on this car, I have come to depend on the AAMCO to keep it going. They have kept this car and me running. They have no nonsense accurate diagnosis. They don't scratch their heads and replace parts with their fingers crossed behind their backs hoping the parts they "throw" at the car fix the problem like the other shop I used to go to. What they have done has worked and I trust them completely and that is important to me. I could be at a disadvantage being a girl at AAMCO, but after two years plus of them doing work on my car, I trust them completely. They have fixed my transmission, and over the past two years or so have also replaced the radiator, water pump, and have fixed problems with the check engine light. They are good, that's all I can say. They will keep fixing this car and hopefully will continue to maintain the next car I get - and hopefully that will be new. Thanks AAMCO!

Had a shot Mercedes 560 sel transmission, wouldn't stay in high gear, these guys rebuilt a used transmission that I brought in, installed it, no problems. They even fixed a steering fluid leak at no charge. Needless to say, I'm very pleased with the job that they did.

Excellent customer svc. Have taken the car to this location for numerous repairs. The price is always as quoted. Never charged for any follow-up visits and I feel like I'm treated as a person, not just the next car in line. Highly recommended.

After getting a quote from the dealership where I purchased my car, I decided it was way too high so I shopped around for a better deal. I went to Mr Transmission & Aamco & while they both quoted a price lower than the 1st, I left my car at AAMCO. They didn't try to "upsell" & they even rented a car for me. I thought the managers were very nice & honest, which is really important! They saved me a lot of money & my car is working great! I would definitely recommend them to anyone that needs car repair.

My husband and I took our truck (my husband's baby) to AAMCO on Cobb Parkway because the check engine light was on. The manager and the owner were extremely professional and knowledgeable. They checked it for free and they explained everything in detail. It turned out to be a transmission problem. After they pulled out the transmission, the price we were quoted for the transmission repair was lower than the competition. Plus they gave us a free rental car for the duration of the repair with a 24 month warranty. Most shops only offered a 12 month warranty with no rental car. We were extremely pleased with the work performed and the service was excellent. Now that we know they do everything, we will use them for all our automotive needs.

Not always a transmission problem. I took my truck in to AAMCO with what I thought was a transmission problem, but it ended up just being what they called a misfire. I was told that all it needed was a good tune up and one ignition coil. AAMCO could have taken me for a lot more, but they didn`t. I certainly do like the service and the honesty there. This is something you don`t see anymore, but it does tell me why they have been there for thirty years. Thanks to all the guys at AAMCO Transmission.
